摘要：Atopic Dermatitis is a disease becoming more and more common and a child who is affected by AD suffers a lot. There are painful sores which tease a child as well as persistent itching of the skin. The itching annoys during a day and doesn’t allow to fall asleep at night or even wakes a child up from a light sleep. Together with a child sleep problems affect all the family members. This leads to fatigue, exhauston and frustation of parents and siblings, and consequently to disturbances in the relationship between family members. The most important things here are a thorough knowledge of the disease as well as its factors exacerbating symptoms, and knowledge about the care of a child suffering from atopic dermatitis. This knowledge will help parents and carers of the children to improve the life quality of a sick child and the whole family. Medical staff, from institutions where the children are treated, should be the source of such knowledge. It will be possible only when the staff itself will possess a thorough knowledge concerning the nature of the disease. The task is to create some mechanisms motivating to comprehensive realization of the benefits of a given level. It should be done in the most effective way and at the lowermost level of the system.
