摘要：The following essay describes and explains digital working at the text fragments of Fabius Pictor published by Karl Müller in 1849. For comparison reasons and as a control mechanism we also encoded the 2nd edition in 1914 of Hermann Peter. The texts were processed with XML Oxygen Editor in order to create digital editions of all of his known fragments. This approach allows for filtering the semantical information about persons, places, editorial techniques and characteristics. Also problems, questions and ideas of solutions were enumerated, everything in view of the coding of the text.
