摘要：Neste texto são buscados os fundamentos a partir dos quais a Arquivologia se constituiu e se constitui como disciplina científica. Identifica-se, assim, um primeiro modelo, positivista e redutor, consolidado no final do século XIX. A seguir, são apresentadas diversas contribuições desenvolvidas ao longo do século XX, que recolocaram noções e problemáticas do campo. Por fim, apresentam-se as tendências contemporâneas, que privilegiam modelos relacionados com a complexidade dos fenômenos arquivísticos, com a inter-relação de seus elementos constituintes e com sua vinculação a contextos sociohistóricos específicos.
其他摘要：This article provides the theoretical foundations from which Archival Science was and is constituted as a scientific
discipline. Hence, a first model is identified, positivist and reductive, consolidated in the late nineteenth century.
Hereafter, several contributions developed in the twentieth century are presented, which repositioned notions and
problems of the discipline. Finally, the contemporary trends are presented, with models related to the complexity of the
archival phenomena, with the relationship of its constituent elements and with their insertion in specific socio-historical
contexts.
