摘要：Discute, sob uma perspectiva crítica, o panorama atual da ciência da informação e algumas das perspectivas futuras, em face dos fenômenos informacionais contemporâneos. Apresenta considerações sobre processo de esvaziamento temático através de análise de objetos de pesquisa atualmente desenvolvidos na ciência da informação e aponta o processo de absorção de outros destes objetos em diversas áreas do conhecimento. Questiona a primazia e a quantidade de pesquisas interdisciplinares na área e tece comentários sobre o que pode redundar desse processo para o futuro da ciência da informação. Em segundo momento, analisa o impacto para a área da explosão informacional, da consolidação das redes sociais como espaços de interação, da computação em nuvem, bem como de elementos constituintes da Web Semântica.
其他摘要：This paper discusses, under a critical point of view, the current Information Science landscape and some future
prospects, regarding contemporary information phenomena. It presents thoughts about the process of thematic deflating
of Information Sience through the analysis of the research objects currently under development in that field, as well as
it points out the process of absorption of those and other relevant objects by other fields of knowledge. It challenges the
emphasis and the volume of interdisciplinary research within the field and presents some comments about what might
be the results of such process for the future of Information Science. Then, it analyses the impact in Information Science
field of the phenomena like: information boom, the consolidation of the social networks as interactive spaces, cloud
computing, as well as key elements of the semantic web.
