摘要：Diante da importância da informação para as organizações contemporâneas, a interpretação organizacional é considerada um elemento chave no alcance de diferenciais competitivos, visto que permite a criação de sentido dos sinais e eventos do ambiente externo, e subsidia os gestores no processo de formação de estratégias e de tomada de decisões. Este estudo objetiva identificar o modo de interpretação organizacional das empresas de tecnologia da informação e comunicação (TIC) alocadas na Incubadora Tecnológica de Campina Grande (ITCG). Foram utilizadas as seguintes variáveis: características da monitoração; processo de interpretação; estratégia e tomada de decisões, a partir de modelo teórico específico. Em relação aos procedimentos metodológicos, fezse uma pesquisa descritiva, na qual foram realizadas entrevistas estruturadas, baseadas nas variáveis do modelo. Os resultados apontam que as empresas de TIC incubadas na ITCG estão enquadradas no modo de visão não direcionada, já que a modalidade de interpretação organizacional apresentou a maior média global, bem como o maior número de indicadores favoráveis, dentre os modos de interpretação analisados. Dessa maneira, presume-se que o vínculo dessas empresas com a incubadora contribuiu para que elas fossem enquadradas na modalidade de visão não direcionada. The organizational interpretation in firms information and communication technology (ICT): a study in the Technology Incubator of Campina Grande – PB Abstract The objective of this paper is to identify how organizational interpretation is carried out in enterprises of Information and communication technology (ICT). As information is very important for the contemporaneous organizations, organizational interpretation is considered as a key element in reaching competitive differentials, since the creation of a meaning of signs and events of external environment is allowed. Organizational interpretation helps the managers in the process of establishing strategies and making decision. The following variables were used: monitoring characteristics; interpretation process; strategy and decision-making, based on a specific theoretical model. In relation to the methodological procedures, a descriptive research was carried out by accomplishing structural interviews based on variables of the model. The results achieved show that the ICT in the Technological Incubator of Campina Grande fit in the manner of non directed vision, since this modality of organizational interpretation presented the greatest global average, as well as the largest number of favorable indicators, according to the manners of interpretation analyzed. So, the conclusion is that the link of these enterprises to the incubator contributed for them to be fitted into the modalities of non directed vision. Keywords Organizational interpretation.
