摘要：Os grupos de pesquisa do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba (IFPB) têm o desenvolvimento científico e tecnológico como atividade fim, e se propõem a realizar pesquisa aplicada para potencializar o conhecimento. Este artigo apresenta indicadores de autoria da produção científica e tecnológica do IFPB. O tema é relevante para a ciência da informação como área que estuda as dinâmicas de geração, coleta, organização, armazenamento, recuperação, interpretação, transmissão, transformação e utilização da informação, e a relação que existe entre informação e conhecimento. O objeto de estudo são os 23 grupos de pesquisa do IFPB, cujos dados foram coletados a partir dos currículos na Plataforma Lattes, no período 1994/2008, e classificados de 1 a 23. O resultado apresenta 472 autorias individuais e 2.316 coletivas para a produção científica, e 348 autorias individuais e 164 coletivas, para a tecnológica. Tais indicadores justificam as atividades para implementar estratégias visando à renovação das pesquisas e à expansão dos grupos. Palavras-chave : Autoria de produção científica. Authorship of scientific and technological production of the research groups from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba Abstract The research groups from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB) consider scientific and technological development as target activity, and they intend to accomplish applied research for developing and potentiating knowledge. This study presents indicators of the scientific and technological production authorship referring to 23 IFPB research groups. The theme is relevant for Information Science as a field which studies the dynamics of generation, collection, organization, storage, retrieval, interpretation, transmission, transformation and use of information, and the relation existent between information and knowledge, leading to research about scientific and technological production. The object of study is related to 23 research groups from the IFPB whose data was collected in the Lattes Platform, in the 1994/2008 period and classified from 1 to 23. The results present 472 individual authorship and 2.316 collective ones, for the scientific production; 348 individual authorship and 164 collective ones, concerning the technological production. These indicators corroborate the groups´ activities so as strategies can be implemented aiming to renew research as well as to enlarge the groups.
