摘要：Este artigo discute a teoria de sistemas com base nos estudos de alguns de seus principais formuladores e mostra que o sistema pode ser visto como um agente de mudança do meio circundante. Sugere uma postura de análise e ação mais abrangente que considere os efeitos positivos dessa intervenção desequilibradora sobre o meio, possibilitando compreender como a Ciência da informação, pela prática que orienta, promove essa intervenção. Information systems: the evolution of the approaches Abstract This article discusses the systems theory, based on studies of some main formulators and shows how one system can be seen as an agent of change. It suggests a more comprehensive altitude in the analysis and action, pointing out the positive effects of the unbalanced of this intervention on the environment.
