摘要：La creciente complejidad de los problemas de las sociedades actuales supone un cambio en la percepción ciudadana que se siente en permanente riesgo. Es por ello, que los ciudadanos están altamente sensibilizados con los riesgos ante los que se ven expuestos. Esta situación ha modificado notablemente el modo en que los gobernantes deben afrontar el complejo proceso de toma de decisiones políticas, más aún en momentos de crisis económico-financiera. Por ello el presente artículo pretende analizar la incidencia real de las técnicas de «cálculo de los riesgos» en ámbitos políticos y administrativos. A la par que debate sobre las nuevas vías de análisis científico de los denostados sistemas de exigencia de responsabilidades políticas por mala gestión o deficiente control del riesgo implícito a cada decisión política. Abstract: The increasing complexity of the current problems of societies, have changed the perception of citizens that fells in permanent risk. Citizens are highly sensitized to the risks to which they are exposed. This situation has significantly changed the way in which governmental administrations must face the complex process of political decision making, especially in time of economic and financial crisis. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the real impact of the risk calculation in a political and administrative level. At the same time there is an open debate about new scientific ways to analyze political responsibilities for mismanagement or poor control of risks involved in every decision policy.
