摘要：Este artigo analisa como a literatura e a realidade são representados no conto “A Biblioteca de Babel”, de Jorge Luis Borges. O artigo traz alguns temas que podem ser discutidos tomando como base o conto ora sob estudo. Faz-se, então, uma análise de como a literatura (sua produção e recepção) está ligada à realidade principalmente sob a perspectiva dos estudos de Umberto Eco que fala de como Borges, apesar da escrita conservadora, inova no campo do significado (das ideias) trazendo reflexões que conduzem a horizontes impensados.
其他摘要：This article analyzes how literature and reality are represented in the short story "The Library of Babel", by Jorge Luis Borges. The article presents some themes that can be discussed based on the short story under study. An analysis is made of how literature (its production and reception) is linked to reality, especially from the perspective of Umberto Eco's studies, which speaks of how, despite conservative writing, Borges innovates in the field of meaning (ideas) bringing reflections that lead to unthought horizons.
