摘要：A Toponímia – uma das subdivisões da Onomástica – é a ciência que se ocupa da investigação dos nomes próprios de lugares. No Brasil, muitos estudos já foram e estão sendo desenvolvido nessa área, no entanto, uma perspectiva pouco desenvolvida é a que correlaciona os estudos toponímicos com o ensino. Por isso, neste trabalho pretendemos apresentar um esboço de uma sequência de atividades didáticas que poderia ser aplicada no Ensino Fundamental (EF), tendo o nome próprio de lugar como tema central. Considerando o caráter essencialmente interdisciplinar da Toponímia, as atividades planejadas englobam três disciplinas do currículo escolar: Língua Portuguesa, História e Geografia.
其他摘要：Toponymy – one of the subdivisions of Onomastics – is the science that deals with the investigation of proper names of places. In Brazil, many studies have been and are being developed in this area; however, an underdeveloped perspective is one that correlates toponymic studies with teaching. Therefore, in this paper we intend to present a sketch of a sequence of didactic activities that could be applied in Elementary School (ES), with the proper name of place as central theme. Considering the essentially interdisciplinary nature of Toponymy, the planned activities encompass three disciplines of the school curriculum: Portuguese Language, History and Geography.
