摘要：En la actualidad lo digital integra a todos los formatos de información (texto, audio, vídeo, gráficos, fotografías, animaciones) en un mismo soporte. Esa multimedialidad favorece la convergencia. Diarios, revistas, emisoras de radio, canales de televisión y películas de cine se han integrado en idéntico soporte junto a nuevos servicios. Este texto explora algunas de las características de la radio y la televisión en un contexto de convergencia mediática. Se identifican algunas de las transformaciones comunicacionales, socio-técnicas y genéricas que se manifiestan en la actualidad, así como los influjos de los procesos digitales en las nuevas rutinas productivas periodísticas. El artículo se sustenta epistemológicamente sobre el paradigma interpretativo de la investigación que busca comprender, describir y descifrar la realidad relacionada con el objeto de estudio. Se asume el procedimiento inductivo, que permite establecer una relación hermenéutica estrecha con el objeto de estudio. Abstract At present, digital integrates all information formats (text, audio, video, graphics, photographs, animations) on the same medium. This multimediality favors convergence. Newspapers, magazines, radio stations, television channels and movies have been integrated into the same support along with new services. This text explores some of the characteristics of radio and television in a context of media convergence. It identifies some of the communicational, socio-technical and generic transformations that are manifested today, as well as the influences of the digital processes in the new journalistic productive routines. It is based epistemologically on the interpretative paradigm of research that seeks to understand, describe and interpret the reality related to the object of study. It is assumed the inductive procedure, which allows to establish a close interpretive relationship with the object of study.
