摘要：El artículo aborda el incremento de la modalidad turística de cruceros en Cienfuegos como parte de la diversificación de fuentes emisoras de viajeros.Se hace un análisis de los principales impactos de la misma en la ciudad, en la dinámica social cotidiana, cómo influye la afluencia de visitantes desde el punto de vista demográfico así como las implicaciones para la gestión y conservación del patrimonio cultural cienfueguero.Asimismo se exponen los retos que impone el crucerismo a las instituciones del sistema de la cultura, entre otras.La idea rectora es la inevitabilidad de asumir el turismo de cruceros y la urgencia de generar políticas que la regulen.Palabras clave: Cruceros, crucerismo, Cienfuegos, patrimonio.ABSTRACT The article focuses on the increase of the tourist modality of cruises in Cienfuegos as part of the diversification of travelers' emission sources.An analysis is made of the main impacts in the city, in the daily social dynamics, how the influx of visitors influences from the demographic point of view as well as the implications for the management and conservation of the cultural heritage of Cienfuegos.It also exposes the challenges imposed by the cruise to the institutions of the culture system, among others.The guiding idea is the inevitability of taking on cruise tourism and the urgency of generating policies that regulate it.
