Esta reseña trata del libro La poética de la imagen , organizado por Humberto Lima de Aragão Filho, que recoge algunas de las fotografías más importantes y premiadas en los años 1950 y 1960 realizadas por el fotógrafo brasileño Humberto Aragão. El libro contiene cerca de 40 imágenes que demuestran que el artista trabajaba siguiendo las tendencias del arte fotográfico de ese momento, explorando la transparencia, la distorsión, el contraluz y el tema regionalista: el hombre del noreste de Brasil.

This review deals with the work titled The poetics of the image, organized by Humberto Lima de Aragão Filho, that presents some of the most important and awarded photographs from the 1950s and 1960s produced by the Brazilian photographer Aragão Humberto. The book contains approximately 40 images that show that the artist worked according to the trends of the photographic art of that moment, exploring the transparency, the distortion, the backlight and the regionalist theme, particularly that of the Brazilian Northeastern man.
