Forty years later, the book was reprinted for the conference Tutela e valorizzazione dei beni culturali tra centro e periferia ( Protection and valorization of cultural heritage in historical centers and peripheries ), thus reaffirming both the importance of Emiliani’s methodology and the cultural relevance of his book.
