摘要：Este artigo propõe uma descrição panorâmica de um conjunto de documentários políticos venezuelanos surgidos entre 2002 e 2013, os quais têm como característica seu engajamento com uma ideologia de esquerda que dialoga com a cinematografia latino-americana militante das décadas de 1960 a 1980. Também se caracterizam, com matizes, pela sua articulação em favor de promoção e defesa da Revolução Bolivariana, movimento político no poder na Venezuela desde 1998. O texto pretende explicar as condições políticas e estruturais do surgimento desta cinematografia, apontar alguns dos seus filmes mais representativos e descrever certas características narrativas e temáticas deles como grupo.
其他摘要：This article proposes a panoramic description of a set of political Venezuelan documentaries that emerged between 2002 and 2013. These films stand out by its engagement with a leftist ideology that dialogues with the militant Latin American cinema of the 60’s, 70’s and part of the 80’s. Another feature of these documentaries is its articulation, with nuances, in favor of promoting and defending the Bolivarian Revolution, political movement that rules Venezuela since 1998. The text aims to explain the policies and structural conditions behind the emergence of this cinematography; to point out some of its most representative films and to describe certain narrative and thematic characteristics as a group.
