Padrão de qualidade do ar.Ozônio.ABSTRACT Air pollution is caused by several sources, but the main ones include: burning of fossil fuels, processing industries and agroforestry activities.Air pollutants in addition to causing degradation of air quality directly affect the health of the population and the environment. The objective of this research is to present the air quality data from the Automatic Air Quality Monitoring Station (EAMQA) of FEEVALE University installed in August 2016 in Campus II and to correlate with meteorological data in order to identify the main sources of atmospheric pollutants in the period studied from August to December 2016.The EAMQA continuously monitors the NO2, CO and O3 gases presenting hourly averages, which facilitate the dissemination and interpretation of the generated data. The present work compared the NO2, CO and O3 concentrations with the air quality standards established by CONAMA Resolution 03 of 1990 and correlated them with the meteorological data, where it was possible to verify that the concentration of O3 varies according to the variation of the concentration of NO2 and CO, obtaining 34 surpasses of the standard for O3.As for NO2 and CO, there were no exceedances of air quality standards in the months studied.According to the correlation, the sources of emission of these pollutants are located to the West and East of the location of the EAMQA.
