摘要:O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver um projeto em educação ambiental utilizando o tema “aves do arroio Estância Velha/Portão” no Centro Municipal de Educação Ambiental de Estância Velha - RS, juntamente com duas escolas municipais.Foram realizados três encontros por escola (aula teórica e prática, saída de campo e pesquisa em guias de campo).Nas aulas, foram utilizados materiais como peles de aves taxidermizadas, ninhos e penas.Também foram elaborados jogos pedagógicos.Para a identificação das espécies na saída de campo, foram utilizados binóculos e guias de campo.Foram registradas 31 espécies de aves.Por meio do projeto, os alunos puderam aprender sobre a biodiversidade local, sua importância ecológica, e observar os impactos ao meio causados por ações antrópicas.Palavras-chave: Aulas em campo.Educação.Conscientização.ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to conduct an environmental education project using the topic “birds from Estância Velha/Portão stream” in the Center of Environmental Education from Estância Velha – RS, amongst two public schools.Three classes were made in each school (theoretical and practical lessons, field trip and research in field guides).During lessons, birds skins, nests and feathers were used.Also, educational games were made.To identify those species in the field trip, binoculars and field guides were used.Thirty one bird species were recorded.Through the project, students were able to learn about the local biodiversity, its ecological importance, and observe the impact to the environment caused by human actions.
