摘要：Este texto propõe uma reflexão acerca da língua espanhola na Medida Provisória (MP) 746, a qual altera a estrutura do ensino médio brasileiro. Nosso intuito é compreender como se constitui e circula o discurso sobre a oferta de uma língua estrangeira, entender os efeitos da medida governamental em sua abrangência, bem como discutir o itinerário formativo proposto e suas repercussões na sociedade.
