摘要:ABSTRACT: The theme of "agro-toxicology" in the Rural Education pervades key issues to be problematized, such as the care of rural workers, from the concept of health as something broad, involving access to cultural goods, leisure and communication and still, the collective physical, mental and social well-being. The use of pesticides, in addition to compromising the health of those who work in the field and those who feed on what is produced in the field, brings with it a conception of health that, in addition to suffering and individualizing, affects our biological diversity. The objective of this study is to discuss pesticides and their implications for health, through the approach of Socio-Scientific Controversies (CSC) in Science Teaching and Rural Education.↓RESUMEN: La temática "agrotóxicos" en la Educación del Campo atraviesa cuestiones clave a ser problematizadas, a ejemplo de los cuidados con los trabajadores del campo, a partir del concepto de salud como algo amplio, que implica el acceso a los bienes culturales, de ocio y comunicación y El bienestar físico, mental y social colectivo. El uso de los agrotóxicos, además de comprometer la salud de aquellos que trabajan en el campo y de los que se alimentan de lo que se produce en el campo, trae consigo una concepción de salud, que además de adolecer e individualizar, afecta nuestra diversidad biológica. O uso dos agrotóxicos, além de comprometer a saúde daqueles que trabalham no campo e dos que se alimentam do que é produzido no campo, traz consigo uma concepção de saúde, que além de adoentar e individualizar, afeta nossa diversidade biológica. Objetiva-se, neste estudo, discutir os agrotóxicos e suas implicações para a saúde, por meio da abordagem das Controvérsias Sociocientíficas (CSC) no Ensino de Ciências e na Educação do Campo.
