摘要：Anionic reactive dyes used to dye nylon suffer from failures due to the poor efficiency caused by low degree of exhaustion and fixation. From the previous work , the dyeing efficiency of Procion Rubine XL on modified nylon was particularly week and hence offers the widest scope for an in depth investigation in to variables that effect the dyeing process. The variables dyeing studies for this process included evaluation the effect of changing the electrolyte concentration as well as the counter ion from sodium to trimethyl ammonium. Consequently reducing the electrolyte concentration and changing the counter ion resulted in reduced fixed colour yield.
