摘要：O presente trabalho1 objetiva discutir as relações entre oralidade, escrita e reescritas indígenas, considerando o contexto colonial e os efeitos de sentido produzidos da dicotomização e hierarquização desses modos semióticos. Tendo como referencial a desconstrução derridiana, rompemos com a ideia recalcitrante de que os povos originários eram ágrafos, para então enxergarmos nas reescritas indígenas, sobretudo, na Série Kotiria – coleção de quatro livros que reescrevem narrativas tradicionais povo kotiria ( wanano ) –, um movimento, que vem se apresentando com maior intensidade a partir da Constituição de 1988, e que possibilita tentativas de superar, por meio de diversas formas de tradução, as dicotomias e hierarquias impostas pela história contada a partir da perspectiva Ocidental.
其他摘要：This paper aims to discuss the relationship between orality, writing and indigenous rewriting considering the colonial context and the effects of meaning produced by the dichotomization and hierarchy of these semiotic modes. Having the Derridean deconstruction as a reference, we will break with the recalcitrant idea that the original peoples did not have a writing. Then, we will reflect on the indigenous rewritings, especially focusing on the Série Kotiria – a collection of four books that rewrite traditional narratives from Kotiria ( Wanano ) people - as a movement, emerged with greater intensity since the 1988 Constitution, which allows attempts to overcome, through different forms of translation, the dichotomies and hierarchies imposed by Western perspective.
