摘要：Los objetivos y contenidos de cualquier enseñanza vienen en gran medida determinados por las necesidades y características de sus destinatarios.De ahí la importancia de analizar dichas características, comenzando por los aspectos más visibles como paso previo para ulteriores estudios.Por ello, el presente trabajo aborda las características del alumnado de segunda enseñanza en la última década del siglo xix, a través de un ejemplo concreto.Con un enfoque predominantemente cuantitativo, se tratan aspectos como procedencia geográfica, extracción social, edades al comenzar y acabar los estudios, duración de los mismos, o rendimiento académico.Los resultados, entre otros, nos muestran un destacado peso del medio urbano, con una presencia mayoritaria del entorno más cercano, pero sin que falten los procedentes de lugares más alejados, así como un predominio de las clases altas, matizado por la presencia, aunque limitada, de los demás grupos, incluyendo las capas más populares de la sociedad.
其他摘要：The objectives and contents of any education come in great measure determined by the necessities and characteristic of their addressees. From there comes the importance of analyzing these characteristics, beginning with the most visible aspects as previous step for ulterior studies. For it, the present work approaches the characteristics of the students of secondary education in the last decade of the 19th century, through a concrete example. With a mainly quantitative focus, there are aspects like geographical origin, social extraction, ages when beginning and finishing the studies, duration of them, or academic yield. The results, among others, show us an outstanding weight of the urban means, with a majority presence of the nearest environment, but without the lack of those coming from away places, as well as a prevalence of the high classes, tinged by the presence, although limited, of the other groups, including the most popular layers in the society.
