摘要：O artigo objetiva abordar as inter-relações entre o texto literário e a obra cinematográfica, tomando por base, o conto "Malagueta, Perus e Bacanaço", de João Antônio e a transmutação fílmica realizada pelo cineasta Maurice Capovilla, com o título de O jogo da vida .Subsidiariamente, são discutidos alguns pontos envolvidos nesta espécie de criação artística, inclusive numa perspectiva sociopolítica visualizada ao longo destas relações.
其他摘要：The paper presents interrelations between literary text and cinema, based on João Antônio’s short-story Malagueta, Perus and Bacanaço , and the filmic transmutation by Maurice Capovilla, entitled O jogo da vida . Secondarily, some intersection points between literary and film narrative are presented, aiming to verify similarities between them, such as: connection between the two; the exchange of experiences promoted between writer and director; the reconstruction of the literary plot into film; the transformation of the literary characters into the film ones.
