摘要：El s. XVIII supuso una serie de cambios de vital importancia en el ámbito cultural español. Examinar qué significó la Ilustración para el desarrollo de los estudios sobre la colonización fenicia constituye el motivo de este artículo. En él se contemplan los descubrimientos arqueológicos acaecidos en esa centuria, así como los diversos avances logrados en cuestiones como el alfabeto, la epigrafía, la numismática o la crítica de las fuentes literarias clásicas, estudios vinculamos con los realizados en otros puntos del continente europeo.
其他摘要：The 18 th. century meant a series of changes of essential relevance in the Spanish cultural environment. The purpose of this article is to examine the importance of the Illustration for the development of the studies about the Phoenician colonization. We deal with the archaeological discoveries from that century, and also with the different achievements in subjects such as the alphabet, epigraphy, numismatic or the review of the classical literary sources. We relate those studies with the works carried out in other parts of Europe.
