摘要：El objetivo principal de este artículo es mostrar las dificultades de género que sufrían las mujeres de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX para poder acceder a los estudios universitarios en España. Para ejemplificar esta situación y tras dar unos breves datos sobre las fechas de fundación de las universidades españolas, al objeto de reconocer la antigüedad e importancia de la Universidad de Valencia, se muestran las biografías de tres mujeres nacidas en localidades de la actual Comunidad Valenciana, que tuvieron que luchar duramente con el fin de superar las enormes trabas que les imponían las leyes vigentes de la época para poder matricularse en la Universidad de Valencia, objetivo que finalmente pudieron conseguir y que las hace merecedoras de la condición de referentes ante la sociedad. Ellas fueron las valencianas Concepción Aleixandre Ballester y Manuela Solís Clarás, primeras mujeres en iniciar y terminar sus estudios en esa universidad, ambas licenciadas en Medicina prácticamente a la vez, en 1889, y la alicantina María Dolores Martínez Rodríguez, licenciada cuatro años más tarde, en 1893, en Farmacia.
其他摘要：The main goal of this article is to show the gender difficulties suffered by women in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in order to access university studies in Spain. To exemplify this situation and after giving some brief information about the dates of foundation of the Spanish universities, in order to recognize the antiquity and importance of the University of Valencia, the biographies of three women born in the current Valencian Community are shown. They had to fight hard in order to overcome the enormous obstacles imposed by current laws to be able to enroll in the University of Valencia, an objective that they could finally get and that deserves them the status of referents to society. They were the Valencian Concepción Aleixandre Ballester and Manuela Solís Clarás, the two first women to start and finish their studies at that university, both graduates in Medicine practically at the same time, in 1889, and the Alicante-born María Dolores Martínez Rodríguez, four years later, in 1893, graduate in Pharmacy.
