  • 其他摘要:This work has objective that produce the reflections of the research carried out as Course Completion Work in specialization in cultures and narrative of Indigenous Peoples.On this occasion we discussed the teaching of indigenous issues from the law11.645/2008 in literature teaching, problematizing the Iracema work of the Indian genre of José de Alencar from the image that was constructed of the Indians by the author and that still remain in the Brazilian social imaginary.We confront the Curricular Guidelines for high school - Languages, Codes and their Technologies, with Law nº 11.645 / 2008 which determined the teaching of the indigenous subject in Basic Education, along with a field research to literature teachers inquiring about the Law and how they saw the Indian in the current social conjuncture. Faced with this approach, it was found that teachers mostly see the Indians from stigmata, as a folk figure that is not consistent with reality.Thus, we find that after ten years of the promulgation of the law there is a wide lack of knowledge on the part of the teachers, as there is also a shortage in the continuing education of teachers about the subject.Soon we show that it becomes indispensable courses of continuous formation that address the normative instrument so that misguided images about indigenous peoples are deconstructed and problematized.
