摘要:The development of the chacacter of caring for the environment is very important to be known from an early age because if from an early age because if from an early age a sense of care for the anvironment has been planted so that adults will care for the environtment. This study aims to describe the implementation of the development of the character of environmental care for children in the context of developing nature to become a teacher at Alam Minangkabau Padang Kindergaden. This reseach was conducted through a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Sources of information from this study were the principal and teacher of the Alam Minangkabau Padang Kindergarte. Research used data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique in this study is triangulation. The results of the study are the implementation of character development. The teacher makes a plan about the activities to be carried out in the development of the character of environmental care in the form of yaerly plan, semester plan, and dayly plan. The teacher also evaluates environmental care activities through observation, documentation, portofolio report cards and narrative report cards.
