摘要：أن منظمة الأمم المتحدة منذ تأسيسها بعد نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية لعبت وتلعب دوراً رائداً ومهماً في تسوية المنازعات الدولية بالطرق السلمية أو العسكرية وذلك وفقاً لميثاقها والقواعد الأخرى للقانون الدولي العام. أن مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة تُعتبران جهازين رئيسيين يقومان بالدور الرئيسي في حل المنازعات الدولية. ففي بحثنا هذا نركز على بيان وتحليل الآليات المتاحة أمام هذين الجهازين للقيام بدورهما في حماية الأمن والسلم العالميين عن طريق الوقوف بوجه نشوب نزاعات دولية أو وقفها وتسويتها. ومما لا شك فيه بأن اعمال هذين الجهازين تصطدم بالكثير من المعوقات العملية والقانونية بسبب هيمنة سياسة الدول العظمى على العلاقات الدولية. في هذه الدراسة نبين كيف يستطيع هذين الجهازين وخاصة مجلس الأمن منهما تسوية المنازعات الدولية باعتباره جهاز منح ميثاق الأمم المتحدة العديد من الاختصاصات التي تؤهله إصدار قرارات ملزمة لجميع الدول دون استثناء بعكس الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة التي لها خيارات محدودة ومقيدة لحل النزاعات الدولية لأن قراراتها غير ملزمة للدول مثل مجلس الأمن.
其他摘要：The united nation organization has played and is still playing an important and pioneering role, since its establishment, in settling the international conflicts by peaceful or military means, according to its charter and other rules of public international law. It is worth-bearing in mind that the Security Council and the General Assembly are considered as main organs executing the fundamental rule in solving international conflicts. It is to be noted that we shall be focused on explaining and analyzing in this piece of research the mechanisms available to these organs to execute their role in protecting international peace and security, by solving, preventing or settling international conflicts. It is also worth-mentioning unquestionably that the acts of these two organs are encountered with many practical and legal problems and dilemmas. Because of the dominance of the policy of the superpowers in the field of international relations. We shall indicate in this study how these two organs, particularly the Security Council, settle international conflicts Because the Security Council is being granted by the UN charter many jurisdictions enabling it to make decisions obliging all the states. Contrary to the UN General Assembly which has few limited choices in settling international conflicts. Because of the non-obligatory characteristic of its decisions, as opposite to those made by Security Council
