摘要：Rosalía de Castro’s figure has been subject to many interests, which has led to the construction of a mythical image around her work and her own biography. She has been considered as a national symbol of Galicia and the origin of Galician literature since the publication of Cantares gallegos in 1863. This paper analyzes the construction of this myth and its relations with the Galician nationalism.
