摘要:The aim of this study is to briefly review the trace of the feminist movement and ideology in the literary production of the Catalan female writers during the second half of the twentieth century. Gender Studies have had a relatively recent influence over the revision and the updating of the perspective of literary critics, and this goes hand in hand with the boom of feminism in the peninsula during the seventies. Maria Aurèlia Capmany, who is a pioneer of the movement –not only within Catalan literature, but also in the Spanish cultural context–, figures as a point of reference for a whole generation of young female writers, some of which combine the writing of feminist theory with literary fiction. Montserrat Roig; Isabel Clara Simó, Carme Riera and Maria Antònia Oliver, among others, show the influence of feminist assumptions in their literary works.
