摘要：Los avances de investigación aquí presentados acerca de la organización socioespacial en Méjico en las épocas prehispánica y colonial, surgen como un primer esfuerzo de entender las continuidades y rupturas entre ambos tipos, con objeto de apuntalar la comprensión de los fundamentos de la actual con guración del territorio. La aprehensión de los rasgos actuales de la organización territorial requiere de una visión que rescate la historia desde la posición epistémica de la complejidad, que permita dilucidar los procesos que en esas épocas se fueron entrelazando en una relación, simultánea, de antagonismo, complementariedad e implicación. Se considera entonces, que existe un vínculo vigoroso entre el pasado y el presente y que el punto de arranque de la con guración territorial condicionó su derrotero hasta llegar a la actual preeminencia de la megalópolis del Valle de Méjico.
其他摘要：The progress in research that are presented in this article about the spatial organization in Mexico between the prehispanic and colonial age, arise as a rst attempt to understand the continuities and ruptures between both ages, the main goal is to achieve the comprehension of the fundamentals of the current con guration of the territory. The understanding of the current features of the territorial organization requires a vision to rescue history from the epistemic position of the complexity, allowing elucidate the prehispanic and colonial process which have interlaced in a relationship, at the same time, of antagonism, complementarity and implication. It is assumed, therefore, to consider that there is a strong link between past and present; the starting point of the territorial con guration conditioned its course up to the current prominence of the megalopolis of the valley of Mexico City.
