其他摘要:The article asks about the possibility that there are devices and structures capable of theorising an idea of economics characterised by more human values, which can unite an individual good with a common good. According to authoritative scholars, the economy of capitalism is reaching its natural end. In the next fifty to one hundred years we will find ourselves having to reimagine our definitions of identity, time and space, relationships, play, work, culture, politics, privacy, etc. Could we hypothesise that it is possible to form new interpretative paradigms that promote the overcoming of narcissistic and instrumental logic, for the sake of a logic of reciprocity, cooperation and exchange? Among the many good practices that are already springing up in this direction, the time and skills bank can be a perfect oxymoron, which brings together two apparently antithetical categories belonging to two different cultures: the monetary one, and that of giving, of sharing. Born as a free association between self-organising people who exchange time to help each other in the small needs of everyday life, it is a form of social integration before being an economic model. Today, the time bank is considered a network that practices the economy of relationships and sharing, generating not only material value in terms of sustainability and “welfare” but also a relational value that creates culture, solidarity and well-being. The time banking can create a “lexicon” of “a different economy”, one that brings the value of time to the centre of well-being, of justice, of hope, of humility, but also a new culture of work founded on the value of dialogue for life and generousness, a result of a renewed and reclaimed civic and social education for a sustainable future
