摘要:Fatigue at workplace has many negative consequences such as accident, illness, performance decreased even death. On the other hand, individuals work to achieve something that related to what is called the meaning of work, which through their work, individuals trying to find a destination, make a contribution, linkages, values and expectations that are expected to minimize fatigue. This study aimed to see differences in fatigue based on the employee’s meaning of work. Fatigue was measured with the Fatigue Assessment Scale / FAS (α = .730) and the Meaning of Work Scale (α = .750). Research in the form of survey on the 59 employees who work as civil servants and private employees in Depok, Indramayu, Bogor and Jakarta. Data were analyzed by chi-square method. The results indicate that there are significant differences between individuals who have a religious meaning of work, collective and virtous character with workers perceived fatigue (x2 = .434, p = .835). Thus, an organization can consider to strengthen the meaningfulness of work on employees, to be more able to resist fatigue at work.
