摘要：Este texto apresenta e problematiza discussões conceituais sobre o corpo na prática coral, estabelecendo uma relação estreita entre teoria e prática educacionais, na qual as ideias de corpo podem fundamentar e/ou ser reforçadas por ações pedagógico-musicais. Argumenta-se que a noção presente na literatura de que “o corpo é o instrumento do cantor” pode fundamentar ou reforçar ações pedagógicas que visam o controle do corpo do cantor com finalidades estéticas predeterminadas, enfatizando a reprodução por parte dos cantores de modelos musicais propostos pelo regente. O “conceito holístico de pessoalidade”, desenvolvido por David J. Elliott e Marissa Silverman (2015), é apontado como abordagem possível do corpo na prática coral na medida em que pode fundamentar ações pedagógico-musicais no canto coral que ampliem as interações pessoais, que ativem a percepção dos cantores e que possibilitem a coautoria dos coralistas sobre as performances.
其他摘要：This text presents and challenges conceptual discussions about the body in choral practice, establishing a close relationship between educational theory and practice, in which the conceptions of body can be substantiated and/or reinforced by musical and pedagogical actions. It is argued that the notion presented in the literature that "the body is the instrument of the singer" can base or reinforce pedagogical actions aimed at controlling the body of the singer with predetermined aesthetic purposes to emphasize the singer’s reproduction of the musical models proposed by the conductor. The "holistic concept of personhood", developed by David J. Elliott and Marissa Silverman (2015), is identified as a possible approach of the body in choral practice insofar as it can base musical and pedagogical actions in choral singing that amplify personal interactions that activate the perception of the singers and that allow for co-authorship of choristers in performances.
