摘要：The focus of this paper is to analyze importance of managerial supervision in improving school performance. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the supervisor plays a very strategic in performing managerial supervision functions in the school or madrasah. As managerial supervisor, he is required to have the knowledge, attitudes, and skills in management and leadership, so that it can play a role and its function in assisting the headmasters in managing the resources of the school or madrasah efficiently and effectively. Therefore, the regulation of supervisor criteria should be applied immediately to improve the the order of education in general and school development in particular.
