摘要：El objetivo de este estudio es indagar sobre las conexiones matemáticas entre manifestaciones del área que establecen (o no) los maestros en formación al resolver tareas asociadas al cálculo del área de superficies planas. Los estudiantes para maestro, reunidos en parejas, respondieron un cuestionario que solicitaba: 1) medir el área de superficies planas utilizando dos o tres procedimientos diferentes, y 2) justificar cada resolución con base en los procedimientos utilizados. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que la gran mayoría de estudiantes para maestro privilegian el uso de procedimientos numéricos y el uso de fórmulas, ignorando procedimientos geométricos e intuitivos que facilitarían la tarea de cuantificar el área. En este sentido, se advierte la dificultad de los estudiantes para maestro para establecer conexiones entre las manifestaciones del área.
其他摘要：The aim of this research is to explore the mathematical connections between area manifestation, which pre-service teachers can be established (or not) when solving tasks related to measuring flat surfaces. Pairs of pre-service teachers answered a questionnaire in which they were requested to: (1) measure the area of flat surfaces using two or three different methods, and (2) justify every resolution based on the methods that were used. Results showed that most aspiring teachers prioritize numerical methods and formulas, ignoring geometrical and perceptive methods, can make the task of measuring area easier. In this sense, it can be said that is difficult for pre-service teachers to establish connections between the manifestations of the area.
