摘要：La resolución de problemas aritméticos en el aula de clases, se convierte en muchas ocasiones para el educando en un elemento negativo del aprendizaje, cuando se orienta hacia la práctica mecánica de nombrar la operación, realizarla y dar una respuesta, sin un proceso de análisis y reflexión, hecho de gran trascendencia en la formación intelectual del individuo. Desde este perspectiva, previa la realización de una prueba piloto se plantee come alternativa para mejorar la habilidad de solucionar problemas aritméticos en Los estudiantes, el método de Espinosa y Cerdan (1988, 25), a través de la aplicación de sus distintas fases. Al término de esta investigación se concluye que el modelo permite un cambio favorable en Los estudiantes at resolver problemas aritméticos escolares.
