摘要：El propósito de este trabajo es socializar una breve descripción del proceso de formación de bibliotecarios en la provincia de Santiago de Cuba, con énfasis en la formación y superación de este. A partir de hechos importantes como la creación del departamento nacional de bibliotecas escolares e inicio de su formación regular, la creación y fortalecimiento del Sistema de Información para la Educación (SIED) y el diseño e implementación de la concepción estratégica; elementos que se consideran para la delimitar las tres etapas de su periodización, y que luego permitió constatar dos características esenciales propias de este proceso.
其他摘要：The purpose of this piece of work is to socialize a brief description of the process of training in
Santiago of Cuba, the with emphasis on their training and upgrading. Starting from the important
facts as the creation of the National Department of School Libraries and the beginning of their
regular training, the creation and strengthening of the System of Information for Education
(SIED) and the design and implementation of the strategic conception; elements which are
considered to bound the three stages of periodization, that later allowed to verify two own
essential characteristics of this process.
