摘要：Las variables herramientas virtuales y proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje se han analizado de forma relacionada debido a las intensas transformaciones sociales, políticas, económicas, científicas y tecnológicas que ha marcado la historia del mundo tecnológico, no distante de ello está la educación ecuatoriana, especialmente la superior, que ha sufrido una metamorfosis en cuanto a sus retos, roles y a la forma en que sus estudiantes aprenden a aprender; debiendo el estudiante gestionar su propio método de aprendizaje, aprovechando todos los recursos a su alrededor, especialmente las TICS con las que puede acceder a información científica y actualizada respecto a las distintas áreas y temas de estudio.
