摘要：No plano conteudístico, o presente trabalho - análise comparativa - tentará mostraromo a narratividade do texto de Márcio Souza, A resistível ascensão do Boto Tucuxi, faz uso da obra de Bertolt Brecht, A resistível ascensão de Arturo Ui, e se apropria do título e dos principais elementos da trama para fazer uma leitura do comportamento político populista amazonense. A obra de Márcio Souza, portanto, liga-se à de Brecht pela veia da política e da ideologia em que ambos realizam uma mordaz crítica aos interesses dominantes na sociedade; tratam-se de paródias que transmitem a forma pela qual o povo percebe e compreende os donos do poder.
