摘要：Este artículo pretende reflexionar, desde un punto de vista académico, sobre el potencial de la fabricación digital como técnica, pero también como modo de pensar y concebir el proyecto de arquitectura en los albores de la cuarta revolución industrial. Hace foco sobre el escenario latinoamericano y sus oportunidades de desarrollo en un nuevo contexto disruptivo. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es contribuir a la comprensión de un nuevo paradigma en permanente evolución, además de agregar un ladrillo más a la plataforma teórico-conceptual que sustenta este nuevo fenómeno digital.
其他摘要：This paper intends to reflect, from an academic point of view, on the potential of digital fabrication as a technique but also as a way of thinking and conceiving the architectural project in the begining of the fourth industrial revolution. It also focuses on latin-american scenario and its development opportunities in a new disruptive technological context. The main goal of this paper is to contribute to the understanding of this new paradigm which is in permanent evolution, and also to add a brick to the theoretical platform that supports the study of new digital phenomenom.
