摘要：En este trabajo abordamos el choque cultural y su papel en la adaptación de los inmigrantes extranjeros en España. Se han explorado cualitativa y cuantitativamente las diferencias culturales percibidas por inmigrantes de varias procedencias culturales —América Latina, África del Norte, África Subsahariana y Europa del Este— al comparar su país de origen con España. 27 personas han participado en los grupos de discusión y un total de 478 inmigrantes extranjeros han contestado un cuestionario sobre el choque cultural (52% hombres y 42% mujeres, la media de edad 33,5 años y el tiempo medio de residencia en el país receptor de 3 años). Los resultados de la investigación han revelado las dimensiones subyacentes de la percepción del choque cultural. Se ha encontrado que tres aspectos de la sociedad de acogida son fuentes comunes de dificultad de ajuste socio-cultural: la percepción de una mayor planificación de la vida económica y social en España, una mayor igualdad tanto general como en las relaciones entre géneros y un grado más alto de consumismo junto con una menor sociabilidad y cercanía en las relaciones en la cultura local suponen un esfuerzo de ajuste para todos los grupos. Asimismo, se han encontrado fuentes del choque específicos para cada grupo cultural. Se ofrecen recomendaciones prácticas que puedan servir de guías o orientaciones a tener en cuenta en la comunicación intercultural.
其他摘要：In this paper we deal with cultural shock and its effectson the adaptation of foreign immigrants in Spain. The cultural differences perceived by immigrants of various cultural origins —Latin America, Northern Africa, Subsaharian Africa and Eastern Europe— have been explored qualitative and quantitatively by comparing their country of origin with Spain. 27 persons participated in the discussion groups and a total of 478 foreign immigrants answered the questionnaire on cultural shock (52% men, 42% women; the age average was 33.5 years old and the average time of residence in the recipient country was 3 years). The results of the research revealed the dimensions underlying the perception of cultural shock. Three aspects of the receiving country have been found to be common sources of difficulties for sociocultural adjustment: the perception of a greater amount of planning of both the economic and social spheres of life in Spain; greater equality both in general and in gender relations and a higher level of consumption together with less sociability and proximity in relationships within the local culture, which exact an effort of adjustment in both groups. The sources of cultural shock in each group have also been traced. Practical recommendations are offered which can be used as guides or orientations to be considered in intercultural communication
