摘要：Este trabalho consiste em uma análise da ordenação que caracteriza os advérbios qualitativos em -mente , em cartas escritas no Brasil nos séculos XVIII e XIX. O objetivo é demonstrar o gradual desaparecimento, que se dá do século XVIII para o século XIX, da tendência que esses advérbios possuem de se colocar antes do verbo, já detectada em fases anteriores da evolução do português.
其他摘要：This paper consists of an analysis of the word order change that characterizes the uses of manner adverbs formed with the suffix -mente in letters written in Brazil in the 18th century and in the 19th century. The analysis aims to show, within this period of time, the gradual disappearance of the tendency of these adverbs of occurring in preverbal positions, which had already been detected in the early historical evolution of Portuguese.
