摘要：Ao discutir algumas opções de tradução do discurso legal no best-seller The Runway Jury de John Grisham, este trabalho tem por objetivo refletir sobre práticas de tradução que teriam como meta produzir um discurso traduzido fluente e que não figurasse a intervenção do tradutor visando a alcançar a aceitação de seu público leitor. De acordo com a reflexão desenvolvida sobre a imagem em geral concebida de bestsellers e alguns exemplos extraídos do original supramencionado e de sua tradução, intitulada O júri e realizada por Aulyde Soares Rodrigues, conclui-se que o tradutor faz-se presente por toda sua produção, que não seria limitada ao transporte intacto de significados legais, mas sempre sujeita a sua inevitável intervenção transformadora.
其他摘要：In discussing the translation options for the best-seller 'The Runway Jury' by John Grisham, the purpose of this paper is to contemplate translation practices whose purpose would be to produce a fluent translated discourse concealing the translator's intervention in order to achieve acceptance by readers. According to the consideration given on the generally conceived image of best-sellers and some excerpts taken from the original aforementioned and its translation, entitled 'O júri' by Aulyde Soares Rodrigues, it has been possible to conclude that the translator is present throughout his or her production, which would not be limited to the intact transport of legal meanings, but always subject to his or her creative and inevitable transforming intervention.
