摘要：El objetivo principal de este artículo es hacer una revisión de los conflictos fronterizos y territoriales vigentes en América Latina y el Caribe, así como de su importancia en el escenario americano. Para comprender mejor la situación actual es necesario revisar sus antecedentes, destacando su complejidad. En la actualidad numerosos países americanos tienen diferencias relacionadas con su territorio. En algún caso, las crisis fronterizas entre países han implicado a la fuerza militar. Estos conflictos son reavivados de forma recurrente por los Gobiernos que los utilizan como elemento de cohesión nacional en determinados momentos, como elemento de distracción de otros problemas o con objetivos económicos.
其他摘要：The main objective of this article is to review the current border and territorial conflicts in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as their importance in the American scenario. To better understand the current situation it is necessary to review its background, highlighting its complexity. At present many American countries have differences related to their territory. In some cases, cross-border crises between countries have involved military force. These conflicts are recurrently revived by the governments that use them as an element of national cohesion at certain times, as an element of distraction from other problems or with economic objectives.
