摘要：Oyun çocukların motor, dil, bilişsel ve sosyal-duygusal gelişimini destekleyen ve gerekli becerilerin kazanımını sağlayan önemli bir araçtır. Bu nedenle çocuklar onlara farklı oyun alternatiflerinin sunulduğu bir çevreye ihtiyaç duyarlar. Günümüzde kentleşmenin ve iş hayatının getirdiği etkilerle beraber aileler çocuklarını alış veriş merkezlerindeki oyun alanlarına götürmeye başlamışlardır. Bu nedenle yapılan çalışmada alış veriş merkezlerindeki oyun alanlarının çocuğun gelişimsel ihtiyaçlarına cevap verip vermediği ve bu oyun alanlarının özellikleri araştırılmıştır.
其他摘要：Play is an important tool for supporting children's motor, language, cognitive and social-emotional development as well as for acquiring necessary skills. For this reason, children need an environment which offers different game alternatives to them. Nowadays, with the effects of urbanization and business life, families have begun to take their children to the playgrounds in the shopping centers. In this study, it was examined that whether the playgrounds in the shopping centers have necessary tools to meet children’s developmental needs and also investigated the characteristics of the playgrounds.
