摘要：Bu araştırmada beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişlik durumlarını karma araştırma yaklaşımı ile incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2015-2016 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Trabzon ve Ankara İllerindeki farklı eğitim kademelerinde görev yapan 242 beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Çalışmanın nicel verileri araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan Maslach ve Jackson (1981) tarafından geliştirilen Türkçeye uyarlaması Ergin (1992) tarafından yapılan “Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği”, nitel veriler ise araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Açık uçlu soru formu” ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel bölümünde beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin tükenmişliğinde öğrencilerin derse olan ilgisizliğinin önemli payı olduğu, öğrencilerin derse gereken önemi vermedikleri, okulun sahip olduğu şartların yetersizliğinin de tükenmişliğin önemli nedenleri arasında olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.
其他摘要：In this research, it was aimed to investigate the occupational burnout situations of physical education teachers through the mixed research approach. The sample of the research consisted of 242 physical education teachers working in different educational stages in the provinces of Trabzon and Ankara during 2015-2016 academic years. The quantitative data were obtained by using the "Maslach Burnout Inventory", developed by Maslach and Jackson (1981) and adapted into Turkish by Ergin (1992); the qualitative data were obtained through “Open-ended question form" developed by the researchers. The findings of the research revealed that the levels of occupational burnout of teachers were moderate and occupational burnout varied according to marital status and workplace institutions. In the qualitative chapter of the research, it was concluded that the lack of interest of the students has an effect on the burnout of the physical education teachers, that the students do not give due importance to the lesson and the inadequacy of the conditions that the school has are among the important reasons of the burnout.
