摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye’de eğitilebilir zihinsel engelliler ilköğretim okullarında öğrenim gören öğrencilere verilen müzik eğitiminin, uygulanan müzik dersi öğretim programı açısından durumunu tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’deki eğitilebilir zihinsel engelliler ilköğretim okullarında 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında müzik dersi vermekte olan özel eğitim sınıf ve müzik öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi yedi coğrafi bölgedeki okullardan seçilmiş olan 58öğretmendir.Betimsel bir çalışma olan bu araştırmada verilerin toplanması için örneklem olarak seçilmiş gruba anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizleri istatistiksel olarak yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları ise tablo ve grafikler ile gösterilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin öğrencilerin çalgıları kullanış özelliklerine göre bilme, çalgıların seslerini tanıma, kendi sesini ve çalgı kullanarak müzik yapma konularını öğrenmekte zorlanabileceği görüşünde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler ayrıca müzik dersi verdikleri öğrencilerin müzik türleri ile ilgili konuları öğrenirken sorun yaşayabileceğini de düşünmektedir.
其他摘要：This study’s primary purpose is to find out the overall condition of elementary music education for educable mentally retarded children by investigating the convenience and effectiveness of the elementary music curriculum for the above mentioned students in Turkey. The universe of this research is the special education and music teachers of music classes in primary schools for the mentally retarded students. The sample is the 58 teachers that are sellected from the schools in seven geographic regions of Turkey. A survey has been carried out to collect the data from the music and special education teachers of the educable mentally retarded students. The survey form has been sent to find out the teachers opinions about the music curriculum for the educable mentally retarded children. The data that has been gathered from the survey was analyzed statistically. The results of the research indicates that the students in the music classes might have trouble in recognising the musical instruments by their sounds, singing songs, playing music and having information about the music genres.
