标题：TÜRKİYE, ABD VE FİNLANDİYA ÖĞRETMEN YETİŞTİRME SİSTEM-LERİNE İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ GÖRÜŞLERİ VE TÜRKİYE’DEKİ SİSTEMİN GELİŞ-TİRİLMESİNE İLİŞKİN ÖNERİLER
摘要：Özellikle 1990’lardan itibaren eğitim kalitesiyle ilgili çalışmaların ve okul reformlarının öğretmenler ve eğitim programları üzerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir. Diğer bileşenler de dikkate alındığında, öğrencinin kişisel özellikleri dışında, başarıda kuşkusuz en büyük pay öğretmenlerindir. Araştırmalar; öğrenci başarısının % 50 genetik donanımına, % 30 ise öğretmen niteliğine bağlı olduğunu göstermekte, eğitimdeki başarı için yatırım yapılması gereken ana alanın öğretmenler olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada; gelişmiş ülkelerdeki öğretmen yetiştirme sistemlerine ilişkin öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerinden yararlanılarak, Türkiye’deki sistemin geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler getirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, öğretmen adaylarına; Türkiye, ABD ve Finlandiya öğretmen yetiştirme sistemlerinin alt boyutlarından olan “Üniversiteye Giriş Koşulları”, “Eğitim Süresi”, “Eğitimin Kapsamı”, “Okul Deneyimi ve Öğretmenlik Uygulaması”, “Öğretmen Yeterlikleri” ve “Değerlendirme Sistemi” ana esaslarıyla özetlenerek verilmiş, öğrencilerden, bu bilgilerden de yararlanarak, Türkiye’deki sistemin geliştirilmesine yönelik görüş ve önerilerini serbest metin olarak yazmaları istenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; öğretmen adaylarının görüş ve önerileri esas alınarak, belirlenen altı alanda yapılması uygun olarak değerlendirilen düzenlemelere ilişkin öneriler getirilmiştir. THE CANDIDATE TEACHERS’ VIEWS ON TEACHER EDUCATION SYSTEMS IN TURKEY, USA AND FINLAND AND THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVING SYSTEM IN TURKEY The school reforms and improving quality of education efforts have concentrated on teachers and education programs since 1990’s. Considering the others, except the student's personal characteristics, the most important share in the success is belong to teachers. The researches point out that the genetic characteristics of the student have 50 %, the teacher has 30 % share in academic success. This result shows us that the main investment area of education is teacher. In this research, it is aimed to bring some recommandations for Turkish teacher education system while having candidate teachers’ views on Turkish and the developed countries’ teacher education systems. In this study, the candidate teachers were given some basic facts about Turkish, USA, and Finland teacher education subsystems and were asked to write their opinion and proposals as free text thanks to taking advantage of given information to improve Turkish teacher education system. These subsystems are “university entry requirements”, “education period”, “program coverage”, “school experience and teaching practice”, “teacher competencies”, and “student evaluation system”. At the end of the study, some proposals were brang to agenda based on the opinions and proposals of candidate teachers.
