摘要：Bu araştırma, ortaokul matematik öğretmenlerinin model ve modelleme hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılan nitel bir çalışmadır. Bu araştırma, üç farklı ortaokulda çalışan altı matematik öğretmeninin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri; ulusal ve uluslararası literatür taraması yapılarak ve uzman görüşü alınarak araştırmacılar tarafından model ve modelleme ile ilgili hazırlanan 8 açık uçlu soru ve verilen model örneklerinin nitelendirilmesini içeren bir test ile toplanmıştır. Hazırlanan bu testin geçerliliğini sağlamak amacıyla uzman görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Öğretmenlerin vermiş oldukları cevaplar nitel araştırmalarda kullanılan betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ortaokul matematik öğretmenlerinin model ve modelleme ile ilgili genel bilgiye sahip oldukları; ancak verilen örneklerden hangilerinin model olarak nitelendirilebileceği ile ilgili bilgilerinde eksiklikler olduğu tespit edilmiş ve öğretmenlere modelleme ile ilgili bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
其他摘要：Abstract This research is a qualitative study in order to analyze the views of secondary maths teachers about models and modelling. This research was realized with the participation of six maths teachers working in different three secondary schools. Data of the research were collected by a test including the description of the given model samples and 8 open-ended questions about models and modelling prepared by the researcher by conducting national and international literature scan and getting expert opinions. It was referred to the expert opinion to provide the validity of this prepared test. Answers of the teachers were analyzed and interpreted by the descriptive analysis method used in qualitative researches. As a result of secondary school mathematics teachers with general information about the model and modeling are; but from the examples given, which can be described as the model is found to be related to deficiencies in information and teachers has made some suggestions about modeling.
